The Missouri History Museum has been active in the St. Louis community since 1866.  Founding members joined together "for the purpose of saving from oblivion the early history of the city and state."

Today, the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park offers exhibitions and events, including theatrical performances; concerts; family festivals; special events; workshops; and presentations.

Admission to the Missouri History Museum is always free.  Admission fees apply to some special exhibitions and special events.

Based on membership level, Missouri History Museum members receive free tickets to special exhibitions and discounted tickets to events.

The Missouri History Museum is an ideal destination for adult groups (10 or more participants) of all types.  We offer various options to customize your Missouri History Museum visit.

The Missouri History Museum also offers programs for school classes and youth groups that fit with classroom curriculum and use our galleries in new and innovative ways.
