Parent and Me: The 1904 World's Fair Four-Week Series
This October, bring your preschool-age children to see The 1904 World's Fair exhibit in a whole new kid-friendly way! Due to popular demand, this program is offered two days a week. Families can sign up for Thursdays OR Fridays. Each class has a different theme. Activities include building with blocks; making colorful footprint paths; riding in a horse-drawn carriage; experiencing music, clothing, dance, and crafts from countries that were represented at the Fair; making musical instruments; participating in an Olympic athletic workout; and dressing up to visit the Fair. Sessions include:
- Thursday, October 4, and Friday, October 5: Building the Fair and Getting There
- Thursday, October 11, and Friday, October 12: Exploring Culture at the Fair
- Thursday, October 18, and Friday, October 19: Getting Active at the Fair
- Thursday, October 25, and Friday, October 26: Fancy at the Fair
