It's STILL Elementary
Join us for this documentary that follows up on the controversial and groundbreaking film It's Elementary, which examines anti-gay prejudice and the ways in which this prejudice could be addressed in schools. It's STILL Elementary revisits the teachers and students from the original film to see how the lessons they learned changed their perspectives and their lives. After the film, stay for a discussion facilitated by Welcoming Schools.
This program will also include a screening of What Do You Know?, a documentary short that features students ages 6-12 discussing what they know about gay men and lesbians, what they hear at school, and what they'd like teachers to do.
Presented in partnership with Welcoming Schools.
