Parking
Limited parking is available adjacent to the Missouri History Museum. During nice weather, the lots adjacent to the Museum are often full on weekends and evenings. Visitors will find more than 400 free parking spaces available directly across from the Dennis and Judith Jones Visitor & Education Center (Forest Park Visitor's Center) and next to the Dwight Davis Tennis Center (approximately one and a half blocks from the History Museum). Please allow extra time to park and walk to the Museum.

The Missouri History Museum is pleased to announce that the City of St. Louis, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department and the Street Department have granted permission for Museum patrons to park on the south side of Lindell Boulevard for the duration of the special exhibition "Vatican Splendors: A Journey Through Faith and Art" (May 15-September 13, 2010). The Museum appreciates our civic partners assisting us with accommodating our visitors!
Forest Park Shuttle
Announcing the Forest Park Shuttle for Summer 2010! Beginning Saturday, May 29, 2010, the Forest Park Shuttle will operate every 15 minutes (Daily: 9:45 a.m.-6:45 p.m.) Valid for one full-day of unlimited On/Off privileges within Forest Park, the cost is $1 (children, seniors, disabled) and $2 (adults). Existing valid passes are also accepted.

Use Metro ’s TripFinder to plan your trip from home to the Missouri History Museum. Simply enter your home address as your “Origin” and the Missouri History Museum as your “Destination” and search for the perfect trip, on Metro. Upon your arrival at the Forest Park/DeBaliviere Station, exit Metrolink and take the stairs or elevator to DeBaliviere Boulevard. The Missouri History Museum is two blocks south along DeBaliviere Boulevard.
