Presented in conjunction with the Academy of Science–St. Louis, the bimonthly Perspectives on Science and History lecture series brings together scientific and historic scholarship to offer a fresh look at topics addressed in our galleries and issues that are still relevant in our lives today. Past topics include global communication through the Internet, the development and effect of the automobile, and the roots of cultural diversity.
