Click to ZoomIn October of 1938, Orson Welles and the Mercury Theatre presented an exciting on-air dramatization by Howard Koch, based on author H.G. Wells' classic science-fiction, The War of the Worlds.
The play was aired on the 30th, the day before Halloween. - Big mistake.
