St. Louis African American History & Genealogy Workshops

Whether you're a novice or an enthusiast, join us for ongoing workshops designed to develop basic skills in gathering, preserving, researching and publishing the history, genealogy and culture of people of African descent in the St. Louis region. 

The March 20 program is a two-part workshop featuring the following:
  • 9am screening of Nobody Knows: The Untold Story of Black Mormons, followed by a Q&A session with producers Darius Gray and Margaret Young (in the Des Lee Auditorium)
  • 1:30pm workshop featuring Darius Gray, who offers an in-depth look at research strategies for both Mormon Church records and the Freedman's Bank records (in the AT&T Foundation Multipurpose Room).

This series is presented by the St. Louis African American History & Genealogy Society.
