Race and the 1904 World's Fair: A Two-Part Workshop
The Missouri History Museum collaborates with the National Conference for Community and Justice of Metropolitan St. Louis (NCCJSTL) in offering a two-part workshop on racial stereotyping experienced by those exploited at the 1904 World's Fair. Historic context and stereotypes surrounding race and its intersection with class, gender and sex in our society will be presented and discussed.
