Date of Event: During March and April, the Missouri History Museum offers Storytelling in the Galleries on Fridays at 10:30 a.m. and Saturdays at 1:00 p.m.
Storytelling in the Galleries at the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park is inspired by the artifacts and themes in the museum.s galleries. Designed for children and their families, the docent-led storytelling programs last approximately 45 minutes. (An adult must accompany children.) Storytelling in the Galleries includes a hands-on craft activity.

The Missouri History Museum's Critical Conversation programs allow participants to speak from individual experience and expertise, as well as participate in small group discussions. Join Gilbert Bailon, St. Louis Post-Dispatch editorial page editor; Jorge Riopedre, secretary of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; and Katherine Reed, assistant professor of journalism at the University of Missouri, for a conversation exploring the media's portrayal of Hispanics and illegal immigrants. Sponsored by the St. Louis Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
