Set Your Story in Stone with a Commemorative Brick at MHM
Download a Commemorative Brick Brochure (PDF)

Become a part of history by purchasing an engraved brick to be prominently displayed in the Missouri History Museum's Orthwein Plaza. Commemorative bricks make perfect tributes, gifts and memorials to friends, family members and colleagues — even pets!

Two types of 4"x8" bricks are available: Traditional Engraved Clay ($300) and Specially Cast Bronze ($800).

After your brick purchase, you will be sent a form to be completed at your option and leisure. This form will allow you to compose a story about the name you have chosen for your brick. The story you submit will be entered into a database and can be easily retrieved by you or another visitor by request at our Information Desk.

Now your visits to the Missouri History Museum can be even more memorable. After you walk through our galleries, browse our gift shop, enjoy lunch in our restaurant and participate in our many programs, you can view your commemorative brick on permanent display in Forest Park and remember the occasion or person it honors.
