Fall / Winter 2007 Booklets (PDF): Adult and Community Group Program (12 pages), Teacher Programs (28 pages), Youth and Family Programs (12 pages)
Welcome from the Missouri History Museum President
The Missouri Historical Society exists to serve the metropolitan St. Louis region in strengthening the bonds of community and facilitating solutions to common problems. We provide a safe gathering place, common ground where we can discuss past choices, present circumstances, and future possibilities and come to an understanding of each other, ourselves, and the place we leave to future generations.
Throughout the year we provide a diverse programming schedule aimed at youth both during and after school hours. These programs are designed to awaken curiosity and engage youth in learning more about the past in order to shape their future. This year we are happy to continue offering our thematic theme tours while adding some new programs, such as History Echoing through the Galleries, a collaboration with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.
We are confident that as you look through these pages you will find programs that will excite and engage your students to learn more about the region’s history. Whether you are a teacher or work with after school programs, the Missouri Historical Society will work with you to ensure a positive experience for you and your group.
Please accept our invitation to visit and discover how the past can lead the way to the possibilities of the future.
